Steve “Gio” Giovannetti is a seasoned technology leader with nearly four decades of experience driving innovation across enterprise IT, identity, and large-scale web infrastructure. Currently serving as Field CTO at SDG Corporation, Gio brings deep technical expertise and strategic vision to organizations navigating complex digital transformation and identity security challenges.

Prior to SDG, Gio was the Founder and CTO of Hub City Media, where he spent over 25 years building and leading high-performing engineering teams and delivering cutting-edge identity and access management solutions. His career spans foundational roles in some of the most demanding technology environments, including Bloomberg—where he was instrumental in the development for Bloomberg.com—and the Union Bank of Switzerland, where he architected systems supporting derivatives trading operations.

Known for his ability to bridge deep technical knowledge with real-world business outcomes, Gio has led teams through the full software development lifecycle—from requirements to deployment—while consistently delivering scalable, resilient solutions. He is passionate about helping organizations modernize securely, especially as identity becomes the control plane for today’s digital enterprise.
